City Remixer is a series of objects made from waste furniture collected in Battersea residential area near campus. A trolley with wood bench makes it possible for me to go around neighbor collecting waste furniture and making them into public chairs, meanwhile opening up conversation with neighbors.

By doing this, I aim at democratizing the public space in community that is now completely embodied governing power of the council. Furniture symbolizes the personal taste of the residents, so I chose to use it to help people expand their personal space into the public realm, manifesting that the people have the right to decide how the public space should be used.
