The Jellybell
2023
The Jellybell is the phase 1 of a long-term community-based project that focus on engaging local residents with cosatline, greenspace, healthy food, as well as environmental issues in Blackpool, UK. It is a one-week research project that includes talks, workshops, and sound installations led by the constellation of Futurefarmers.
In a week, we talked to people from different communities and industries in Blackpool to gather information about what they would imagine the future of the place. Besides, we led several workshops with local people to engage them with social topics in the formats of drawing together on beach, co-designing public installation, and weaving workshops.
The idea is to gather as much information through conversations to catalyse the next stage of the project.
