‘Ocean’ collection is inspired by traditional Asian lacquer techniques. The project aims at bringing the intricate craft into a local and contemporary context. Scallop shell waste from food industry is used in this project to create the oceanic pattern on the work as decoration.

The tradtional lacquer techniques are recontextualised in locality and sustainability.
